Aurai Sensing is pre-seed, founder-led, and about to put its first nodes in the ground. That is an unusual moment to start writing publicly — there is no season of results to point at yet, and no case study to hide behind.
We think that is exactly the right time.
What this will be
Field notes, in the literal sense. Deployment logs, things that broke, readings that contradicted what we expected, and decisions we had to make with incomplete information. Written while it is happening rather than reconstructed afterwards.
- What we install, where, and what it costs us to do it
- What the data actually says — including when it says we were wrong
- How the hardware and the software change in response
What this will not be
It will not be a feed of product announcements, and it will not report results we have not measured. When we do not know something yet, the note will say so.
Ground truth over dashboards.
The first commercial deployment runs from September 2026, embedded in a University of Sydney Capstone project. Everything after this post should have real readings behind it.
